Bristol Libraries

Bristol Libraries offer free access to books and digital resources in 28 branches across the city as well as online.

Through the libraries, you can:

  • Borrow books and use the computers for free
  • Hire DVDs and CDs
  • Use the free WiFi
  • Find a reading group
  • Use a range of services for people who have a disability or are housebound, including an ‘at home’ service.

The libraries also host a number of great events and activities for all ages, including children’s story times, author book readings and a senior moment’s group.

Reading Passport

Visit your local library this winter and take a journey through the decades by reading 10 books from the last 100 years.

For every book you complete from each decade your librarian will stamp your passport. When you have received 10 stamps you can be entered into a prize draw to win a suitcase full of books!
